Number 28 it is for me! I woke up this morning to a crying baby and a husband and his awesome morning breath telling me happy birthday. On my nigh stand there was a card from my wonderful husband that said.
"To My Wife! I love waking up next to you. I love sharing the on-the-way-out-the-door kiss that starts my morning off right. I love thinking about you during the day, and dreaming of you at night...And I want you to know that, no matter how busy things get, not a day goes by when I don't appreciate how lucky I am to share my life with an incredible woman like you. Happy Birthday I Love You.
Desi, One card is not enough to express how much I love and appreciate you! Enjoy finding 10 more cards during your day. You are the best!
Love, Mike
P.S. Please join me for dinner tonight."
Well that started my day off right! The kids and I got quickly dressed and head out the door to be at Marsha Bowens house for visiting teaching at 9:30 am. How awesome is that? That I can get up get myself and 3 kids dressed and fed and out the door at that time! Anyway, after visiting teaching the kids and I all headed over for a birthday lunch with some ladies in the ward at my friend Lexy's house. It was mainly to be an excuse to get together with a bunch of us since I feel like I am kind of out of the loop since having Ruby, I have been more hermit like with her, but it turned into a birthday celebration. We had yummy food and chatted it up.
Once we were home I did some laundry and waited for Mike to get home so we could head out for dinner. When he got home he had a beautiful bouquet of a dozen pink roses for me. We went to BJ's for dinner with the kids. We waited a while for our table but it was well worth it for our take home cookies 'n cream pizookie.
I felt pretty special today. I don't know who changed my husband into this romantic, but I am loving it.
