18 Month Well Check - Ivy

Ivy had her 18 month well child check. Everything is normal. She doesn't speak nearly as much as the older kids did at her age. The older 3 all had tons of words and Emily and Mordecai could say a few sentences...granted they were sentences that they thought were probably one long word but still they could. Ivy only has about 8 or 9 words so while she is on the low side Dr. Miller isn't too worried since she is kid #4 and figures she will start exploding soon. On a side note she is also nursery age and just like most nursery age kids...she hates it. LOL.

Easter 2014

We kept up with our tradition of doing Easter eggs the Saturday before. Mike also thinks I am crazy that the kids each dye a dozen eggs, but the kids enjoy it! Sunday we woke up and I hid the eggs before Emily and Mordecai came up from their sleep over in the basement. The kids loved it and it was especially fun to see Ivy go crazy for all the excitement.

Easter is also one of the few times a year that I have us coordinate. I bought my outfit and Emily's for just everyday church wear, but one day they were sitting next to each other on my bed and that's when I decided to make them our Easter colors.

After Church we had the Smith family over for ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls, deviled eggs, Sunday salad, and Grandma Rogers' strawberry cheesecake for dessert.
