Rogers' Family Reunion 2012

Mike's side had a family reunion this year (June 7-11) in Heber City/Park City.  After a long and very frustrating drive we finally got there and settled. Friday the 8th, Kristilyn, Kim, Melody and I headed into Park City to shop their outlets. We had some lunch and then met the rest of the family for a ride on the Heber Creeper.  Mordecai loved the train assortment, Emily loved the ride, and I just loved relaxing with Mike.  What was even better was that it was going to cost us about $100 dollars to ride the train, but Julie and Jason's home teacher worked there so he got us on for free.

Saturday we headed over to the Olympic Park in Park City.  When we got there we did the little museum they had and then watched some skiers practice their jumps into the pool.  It was pretty neat. Then just our little family headed over to the bob sled area and had lunch.  From there we all headed down to the alpine slide. Mike and Emily went down with the rest of the group while Mom and Dad Rogers and I stayed back with Mordecai, Anna, Amelia, and Lilian.

Sunday we had a quiet (loud) Sunday with family pictures in the evening. Felicia and Tom came up for a while and then it was bed so we could all get up to pack and headed our seperate ways. It is always fun to get together with family, and we had such a fun time.
