This year for Thanksgiving we were going to get together with the Grip's and the Ashby's, but since Marci was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of August we all had our own and will have to do it together another time. It was actually quite nice to just be our family.
Mike also turned 42!!! The kids made Mike pancakes and eggs for breakfast that I kindly allowed Mike to have (the pancakes weren't cooked all the way through) and he was such a good sport about it. Since Felicia and Tom were here we did a babysitting swap and they watched our kids so we could go out. We did Olive Garden for dinner and then came home to do presents and brownies and ice cream.
This kids also had one of their two recitals this month and it was fun to go to and see all the kids perform.
