My little man turns 3 tomorrow so we decided to finally have a party for him. Mordecai wanted a pinata so bad for his birthday after we attended the Grip's party, so that is just what we did. We invited his best buddies over and their families for lunch of pizza, fruit kabobs and broccoli salad. We then had playtime, pinata, cookies and ice cream (we don't eat cake in this family), presents and visiting. Mordecai originally wanted a Batman pinata so I bought batman sacks for the kids to put their candy in, but when we went into Party City to buy the pinata he changed his mind when he saw a Thomas the Train pinata so we had a Batman/Thomas the Train party. The kids had fun and so did the adults.
*Funny Stories* The pinata was made out of cardboard instead of paper mache, so the kids all had 2 turns whacking at it and then we let Matt (Lanae's Daddy) have a go at it so the kids could collect their stash. If we had let the kids break it we would have been there all day.
The picture of Mordecai with the blown out candles on the cookie isn't after we sang the song, it was right in the middle of it. He was so excited and I tried to keep him from blowing them out until we finished singing but it was a no-go
