Mordecai - 6

Mordecai turned 6 today. He sure has grown up fast. Just recently I have found myself looking at him and thinking to myself, "he really is a big kid now". He is almost as tall as Emily and he has been braving some crazy tricks outside like doing the monkey bars. Anyway, today was his first practice for the season so he attended that and then handed out some mini fudge stripe cookies and a juice to celebrate. For his family dinner we had his favorite, broccoli chicken divan with rolls, and then after practice we celebrated with cake and ice cream and of course presents. He got an outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Rogers, money from Grandma & Grandpa Bainbridge, and from us he got a ninja turtle dress up, a case for his Nintendo DS, and a Pokémon game. For his real celebration this weekend he has decided that he wants to go to IHOP for dinner. We are so glad he is ours.
