Christmas Eve was very low key for us. Ivy had her 2 month appointment. Mike took Julie and Jason to the airport, they were here for the weekend for an internship interview, and we cleaned the house in preparation for Christmas madness.
Usually we go to McDonald's for dinner. It is so fun because we are usually the only people there and the kids run wild to make themselves tired for that night, but tonight we headed over to the Brown's house for dinner with the Gerber's and the missionaries. It was yummy food and good company. After we left we headed around to view the Christmas lights. It was really fun because Ruby would yell, "WOW", "Christmas lights!" Once home we opened our Christmas pajamas that Grandma and Grandpa Bainbridge sent and then it was bed time
Mike and I did all of our wrapping early this year so all we had to do was pull out the Santa gifts, that we don't wrap, and fill stockings. Now it is time for us to sit down and watch the new Batman movie. I imagine we will wake up when kids get up. Call me crazy for not waking them, but I figure there will be plenty of early Christmas mornings to come in the future.
Happy Christmas Eve All!!!
