ER & Overnight Stay

 About 1:30, during sacrament I took Emily out to go to the bathroom. I came back and sat down and noticed my eyes were wigging out. I could see the word I was looking at in the hymn book but nothing around it. I could look up and see someone I was starring at but not who was around them. It was almost like I had been starring at the sun but hadn't been.   I told Mike I was freaked out, because those of you who know me know I have better than perfect vision. He told me to sit down and relax and not "focus" on anything. I listened and went to nursery with Mordecai.   My eyes got better, but then I started to get a slight headache. I don't ever get headaches, I have had maybe 4 or 5 my entire life. Well, then I started to get a really sick feeling. I took Mordecai withe me and went to tell Mike I needed to go home. This was about 3:00, when all of a sudden my left arm started to tingly like it had fallen asleep. He brought me home and I THREW up everything in my stomach multiple times.  Finally I called my Mom and asked her her thoughts. She said to call my OB to find out what I could do. The OB said since I don't have a history of Migraines, and maybe 4 or 5 headaches in my entire life plus no high blood pressure to go to the ER right away. We got there and they gave me morphine for pain and Zofran for being sick. Both did very little. They took me for a CT scan and then gave me more Morphine and Phenegren. I knew the Phenegren would work, the Morphine took the edge off this time and I was able to sleep.  Mike took the kids home and my friend Kristal came to stay with me until I was situated. They admitted me and I was there overnight for very low blood pressure. It kept dropping every check. The lowest was 74/48. I am normally low, like 92/60 but they said that was scary. The OB was worried for stroke, blood on the brain or meningitis. She also said in very rare occasions the baby can sit on a nerve that can restrict blood flow to the brain. We all know how great I am at having the "rare" problems. I was told it was a severe complex migraine and it was probably a fluke and a good thing I came in. They did say that my white blood cell count was up, when isn't it, and that I needed to monitor myself to make sure I don't come up with fevers.  So I am not a loser and needed to go to the ER for a headache. We are now home thanks to Kristal and Mike
